Technically, this is my second attempt at knitting socks. My first attempt didn't get past the cast on. Those tiny dpns frustrated me so much. This time, I decided to try knitting two socks at a time on two circular needles, as explained in "Knitting Circles Around Socks."
I thought it might be a good idea to knit two different color socks . . . to try to save some confustion.
I Can't Knit Socks
Fairly new to knitting, the ever popular knitted sock continues to frustrate and confuse me.

I love that you can't knit socks, but that you're embracing them anyway! It is one of my goals for after the bar (I have a very long list of things to do after the bar...) I can't knit socks, either, but I have been somewhat paralyzed by my fear of the socks and haven't even attempted them for quite some time. Once I got all the way down to the heel, but then, well, that was the end of that. I'll get back to socks one of these days...
And thanks for the comment! I was excited to be able to send the soup to my friend and was only sorry that she saw my name on the credit card slip -- I would have preferred anonymity (though she would have known it was me anyway).
Love your blog, chica... And just think, if you don't do a whole sock -- they can just be wristbands... :renee:
Wow on the sweaters! No way I could stay with a project long enough to cover TWO whole kids!! :hail:
